Ballou S.T.A.Y (School To Aid Youth) High School was established in 1989 as an alternative high school to provide an opportunity for DC residents to complete their high school education. . In addition to vocational training such as cosmetology and barbering, Ballou STAY Opportunity Academy offers adult basic education (ABE) classes within our National External diploma program. Our commitment to our students goes beyond academic achievement, we empower our students transition to life after receiving a certification or high school diploma.
